App gating is not working

• On iPhone, app gating requires a physical device running iOS 16.4 or later.
• Open iOS Settings → Screen Time and confirm App & Website Activity is enabled.
• Open Memento → Gate, turn off the daily gate, then turn it on and approve authorization again.
• Low Power Mode or an iOS Screen Time service issue can delay callbacks. Restarting the iPhone can restore the system service.

Immediately restore access to selected apps

Open Memento → Gate → Emergency: turn off all gating. On iPhone, you can also revoke the app’s Screen Time permission in iOS Settings. On Android, you can disable Memento in Accessibility settings.

Reset reading progress

Memento intentionally keeps reading friction low and does not currently include destructive progress-reset controls. Deleting and reinstalling the app resets local state.
